Gone are the days when I'd wake up and run down the stairs with great excitement at the prospect of what i might find behind door number one of my advent calendar. Not your chocolate all singing all dancing type either just the plain and simple Santa Claus or Nativity scene types. I don't think I ever had a chocolate advent calendar come to think of it. Anyway, I used to love the wee pictures that were inside; a drum; a spinning top; a Christmas tree or a doll. Retro they'd be called in these days of chocolates or mini toys inside the little doors. Or if you're lucky a fun size Milky Way.
So I thought what better thing to do than create my own Advent Calendar on here each day. I don't know what form it will take but there'll be a treat here each and every day from 1st to 25th December. There might even be a give-away along the way too!!...
